Rob
Lowe

Rob Lowe has established an impressive and heralded career, amassing over one-hundred credits across stage, television, film, and radio. He's known for roles in such films as St. Elmo's Fire, About Last Night, and The Outsiders, and such shows as The West Wing and Parks and Recreation.

Born in Virginia to a schoolteacher and a lawyer, Rob Lowe began his acting career in his teenage years and found immediate success with a number of roles, leading him to being cast in Francis Ford Coppola's screen adaptation of "The Outsiders" alongside other newcomers Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon, and Emilio Estevez, among others. This led to his role in St. Elmo's Fire, alongside Demi Moore, Estevez, Judd Nelson, and Andrew McCarthy. Lowe was known as a member of the "brat pack" that included Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore, and Judd Nelson. He dominated the covers of magazines and was constantly in the public eye. Lowe later shrugged off this persona, and married makeup artist Sheryl Berkoff in 1991, with whom he has two children. Lowe's focus recently shifted to Television, where he took on noted roles in shows such as The West Wing, Parks and Recreation and The Grinder.
